The Organisational Development Department is looking for a Wellbeing Officer to support delivery of the College’s Wellbeing initiatives. The postholder will be active in delivering training, content creation, and health prevention and promotion across the College. This postholder will advocate and influence College engagement with wellbeing, inspiring colleagues to better understand their health.
Working across both the Organisational Development and HR Departments, this postholder will work with the Organisational Development/HR Manager on long-term workforce cultural change. Working closely within the People & Culture Directorate, this post encompasses active networking across all levels of the organisation.
This is a unique role which focusses on promoting employee wellbeing while also taking on key HR responsibilities such as absence management casework and HR reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within an HR function in a diverse organisation as well as experience in developing and implementing wellbeing initiatives.
The role requires someone with strong communication skills as well as a relevant Degree (or equivalent) and/or appropriate professional qualification. In addition, you should have excellent up-to-date knowledge of employment law and legislation.
