Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee contract management processes for civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and teams to develop project plans, budgets, and timelines.
- Negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigation.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying any deviations from the contract and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, addressing any contractual issues or disputes promptly.
- Prepare and present reports on contract performance and financial metrics to senior management.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on contract management best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Contract Manager within the civil engineering or construction sector.
- Strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and project management principles.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
