Mechanical Design Engineer

Contract Opportunity

Outside IR35 - up to £50 p/h

Glasgow - 3 days a week (hybrid)

12 Months minimum term.

Yoh have partnered with a well-established business who are looking to add multiple design engineers to the team. They will be working alongside the current design team and creating new designs across pumps and valves. The majority of drawings will be for heavy duty rotating machinery so experience across this area is highly desirable/ essential.

The business is located in central Glasgow and is requiring candidates to be onsite on a minimum of 3 days a week.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

- Working on new designs for pumps working within a specialised team

- Responsible for undertaking computer aided design (CAD) engineering activities

- IT skills required for discipline specific software (SolidWorks)

- Minimum of 3 years industry experience.

You must have valid right to work in the UK and be able to obtain Security Clearance to apply for this role.
