This role is advertised as part of our BBC Extend programme for disabled people. To apply for this role you should identify as deaf, disabled or neurodivergent and must meet either: the definition of disability in the Equality Act (2010), or the definition of disability in the Disability Discrimination Act (1995) if applying in Northern Ireland. You’re broadly defined as disabled under both acts if you have a physical or mental impairment that has a substantial and long-term negative or adverse effect on your ability to do normal daily activities. This definition includes both apparent and non-apparent conditions and impairments, and medical conditions such as Cancer, HIV or Multiple Sclerosis.

About specialist factual productions
Specialist Factual Productions is the home of high quality, thought-provoking and award-winning factual television. It’s an exciting time to join BBC Studios Productions - we are currently in production with Sky; the BBC, PBS, Channel 4, Discovery, National Geographic, Netflix, Apple TV and Migu.
We are launching an initiative to give experienced Series Producers, based in Glasgow, an opportunity to step-up to an Executive Producer level in Specialist Factual Productions.
They will be supported by a team of established Executive Producers and receive extensive on the job training. They will be working to the Creative Director and Genre Head.
We are looking especially for experience and understanding of Specialist Factual film-making, development experience and production. We want to build on our heritage and continue to create bold, ambitious and ground-breaking content across a variety of platforms.
We currently operate on a hybrid working business, with 3 days per week in the office on a full time basis. Please only apply if you live in Scotland and can work in Glasgow.
We will only consider candidates with previous experience at a senior level in the prime time specialist factual sphere, so please do not apply if you do not have this experience.

Salary: £54,600 - £90,900 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights
